About the Role

The Learning Tree in Wilmington, NC is looking for a passionate and nurturing Twos Full Time Teacher to join our growing team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact during one of the most formative stages of early childhood development. If you love working with toddlers and creating a warm, engaging classroom environment, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities

Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities for 2-year-old children Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Monitor and support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive learning environment Follow all licensing regulations, health, and safety protocols within the classroom

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; EDU 119, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/ in related field preferred Prior experience working with toddlers in an early childhood education setting Knowledge of DCDEE licensing regulations and developmentally appropriate practices Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills Must pass required background check About Us: The Learning Tree has been a trusted name in early childhood education in the Wilmington, NC community, dedicated to helping young children grow, learn, and thrive in a safe Christian and loving environment.
