Job description

Stratford School, part of Spring Education Group, is a leading independent WASC-accredited private school in California offering courses from preschool through 12th grade with a vision of creating a unique, multi-dimensional educational foundation for children. About the Role

As a Multi-Classroom Teacher, you will provide flexible, day-to-day instructional support across various middle and high school classrooms at our Stratford School campus. Each morning, you'll report to campus and receive your assignment based on the school’s instructional or supervision needs. You’ll also assist with general student supervision and may support the Principal with daily campus operations. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy working with different subjects, students, and teaching teams. This Multi-Classroom Floater Teacher position is designed as a developmental role, intended to prepare candidates for a future Classroom Teacher position. It is expected that individuals in this position will actively work toward and be prepared for placement in a Classroom Teacher role as openings become available.

What You'll Do Provide coverage across middle and high school classrooms, including core subjects and enrichment classes Follow provided lesson plans or create your own for longer-term assignments Collaborate with lead teachers and administrators to support student learning and classroom management Step in for supervision duties or assist with campus-wide needs as required Adapt to a variety of subject areas and classroom cultures with professionalism and flexibility Performs other related duties as assigned What You Bring Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required) Prior experience in a middle school classroom or educational setting preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills A flexible, team-oriented mindset Passion for fostering academic growth Confidence in teaching or supporting multiple subject areas
