The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate physical education program that promotes physical fitness, healthy habits, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while supporting the school’s mission and Catholic values.

Job Responsibilities

Lesson Planning & Instruction

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans that incorporate Catholic teachings and values.
• Classroom
• Environment: Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Student
• Assessment &
• Support: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, offering timely feedback and providing necessary academic support.

Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure student success and promote a team-oriented approach.
• Faith
• Integration: Participate in school-wide activities, including faith-based events and initiatives, while modeling Catholic teachings in all daily interactions.
• Professional

Experience

• Previous teaching experience in elementary or middle school settings preferred.
• Faith
• Commitment: Strong understanding of Catholic teachings with a commitment to integrating faith into the curriculum.
