• How this role contributes to the Y's mission: As a Junior Swim Coach, you will help young swimmers build confidence, develop competitive swimming skills, and foster a lifelong love of the sport.
• By assisting with practices, supporting swimmer development, and maintaining a safe and encouraging environment, you'll play an important role in creating a positive team experience.

• Have experience with competitive swimming and enjoy sharing your knowledge through coaching and mentorship.
• Prioritize safety by enforcing pool rules and maintaining awareness during practices and team events.
• Communicate positively and effectively with swimmers, families, and fellow coaches.
• Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude both in and out of the water.
• Take initiative to prepare equipment, assist with practices, and support swim meets and team activities.
