The SLP will assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for children aged birth to three with communication delays. Responsibilities include developing IFSPs, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess Maryland state licensure. A CCC-SLP certification and previous experience in early intervention or pediatric therapy are highly desired.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders, communication delays, and developmental milestones. Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results and collaborate with families to establish realistic objectives. Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services in various settings, including home-based, community-based, and teletherapy. Developing IFSP Monitor and document progress regularly, adjusting goals as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Offer parent/caregiver education and guidance to support carryover of therapeutic strategies into the child's daily routines. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including session notes, reports, and billing documentation. Collaborate effectively with other members of the early intervention team, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and developmental specialists. Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology and early intervention services. Participate in professional development opportunities, team meetings, and company trainings.
Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Maryland state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. (if applicable) Educator Certificate (if applicable) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Previous experience in early intervention or pediatric speech therapy is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Dedication to providing culturally competent and family-centered care.
