The ENL Teacher is responsible for creating an inclusive classroom culture and providing integrated instruction for English Language Learners. Key duties include implementing high-quality lesson plans, conducting NYSITELL and NYSESLAT assessments, and collaborating with colleagues via a co-teaching model.
Candidates must hold a NYS or equivalent ELL, TESOL, or ESL teaching certification and be fluent in both Spanish and English. Experience in urban elementary teaching and a commitment to restorative justice and project-based learning are highly valued.
