The teacher leads a classroom team to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, managing classroom data, and fostering positive relationships with families.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with experience in a pre-school environment. A degree or professional certificate in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required.

$1048.80-$1898.40 Bi-weekly depending on Education

Must be 18 years of age. Experience required working in a pre-school environment. CDA, CDC, AA or BS or BA in Early Childhood Education or Childhood Development (P-3), Human Environmental Degree or Special Education degree with a concentration (18 hrs.) in early childhood or childhood development from college or university accredited by National Council Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) required. Alabama Teaching Certification is not required.
Other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position or related duties.
Reports directly to the Children’s Services Classroom Support. Works closely with Teacher Assistant, Family Engagement staff, children and families.

Work is performed in a classroom setting. Minimum travel to make home visits is required. This position requires sitting, standing, bending, and minimal lifting. This position requires a valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance and safe driving record.
