Requires a High School Diploma/GED and a Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) certification. Candidates must have 2 years of experience working with children and meet all required health and safety clearances.
Wonderspring, a nonprofit early childhood education organization, is seeking a PreK Counts Float to support our PreK Counts classrooms (ages 3 – 5) at our Pottstown Center. In this role, you will move between classrooms as needed, helping ensure children have a consistent, safe, and positive experience throughout the day.
In this role, you will support our preschool classrooms across the center, including our PreK Counts classroom as part of our partnership with PEAK. Step into different PreK Counts classrooms as needed to help with coverage and maintain ratio. Support daily routines and classroom activities Provide active supervision at all times to keep children safe Build and maintain relationships with children, families, co-workers and administrators. Follow and adhere to the responsibilities outlined by the lead teacher for the classroom. Maintain safe, clean, and organized environments
High School Diploma/GED Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA), required 2 years of experience working with children, preschool preferred Comfortable moving between classrooms and adjusting to different needs Maintain professional and manage confidential information with care. Basic understanding of Department of Human Services (DHS) licensing requirements. Must meet all required clearances and health checks.
