The Assistant Coach supports the overall strategy and development of the women's rowing program. Responsibilities include analyzing performance data, recruiting student-athletes, and providing instruction to prepare athletes for major college competition.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or higher and a valid U.S. driver's license. Experience in Division I coaching, rowing, and knowledge of NCAA and SEC regulations is preferred.

The Assistant Coach aids in the development and overall strategy of the assigned sport. Analyzes and interprets data from the performance system to provide targeted programs to improve the performance of competitive athletes. Evaluates, recruits, instructs, supervises, disciplines, and coaches student-athletes to prepare them to compete successfully against major college competition.

Bachelor's degree or higher and some experience.

Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Ability to support the ideals and mission of the University and its Rowing program. Effective organization skills. Written and verbal communication skills. Solid computer skills. Strong teaching/coaching skills. Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with student-athletes, staff, recruits, and alumni. Knowledge of Division I NCAA rules/regulations. Willingness to learn and collaborate.
