The coach will coordinate all activities related to running the throwing events, including: Assist with planning and conducting daily practices Travel with the team to competitions and assist with meet-day coaching duties Assist in fundraising and general promotion /track & field program Maintain gear and equipment inventory and assist with ordering equipment and apparel Any other duties assigned by the head or assistant coaches Recruiting throwing events. Will work closely with the coaching staff and especially the student-athletes. Support a philosophy of community service Support the mission, vision, and strategic plan of Indiana Tech Any other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Assistant Coaches, and Athletic Director Measures of Accomplishment As determined through the establishment of goals and objectives with the Head Coach Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required If applying for the G.A. position must receive admission to an Indiana Tech graduate program.
