BHA Academy is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to support students with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral needs. In this role, you’ll develop and lead individualized instruction, manage IEPs, partner with families and school districts, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage student IEPs Deliver differentiated instruction based on individual learning and behavioral needs Monitor progress and use data to adjust goals and supports Partner with families, school districts, and interdisciplinary teams Support and coach paraprofessionals in classroom and behavior plan implementation Maintain classroom structure and behavior supports Participate in IEP meetings and required documentation Advocate for student success and transition planning
