No teaching certification is required. Candidates with at least 60 college credit hours are encouraged to apply.

Position responsibilities

As a Substitute Teacher, you will

• Follow lesson plans left by the classroom teacher
• Lead classroom activities and keep students engaged
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
• Manage student behavior using school expectations
• Take attendance and report any classroom concerns
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and hallway transitions
• Work collaboratively with school administrators and staff

Work schedule: Monday through Friday

Full-Day Assignments • Approximately 7: 30AM – 4:30 PM

Half-Day Assignments • Morning

• 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Hours may vary based on the school's schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Able to successfully complete a background check and fingerprinting
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
