What you'll do

• As a Substitute Teacher, you'll provide instructional support while the classroom teacher is absent by:
• Following lesson plans provided by the teacher
• Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Managing classroom behavior and encouraging student participation
• Supervising students during lunch, recess, and transitions
• Taking attendance and communicating important information to school staff
• Ensuring students remain safe, engaged, and on task throughout the school day

Long-term substitute teachers may also assist with lesson planning, grading assignments, and delivering instruction aligned with the school's curriculum.

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Full-Day Assignments • Approximately 7: 00 AM – 4:00 PM

Half-Day Assignments • Morning

• 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Afternoon: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Assignment hours may vary by school.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Authorized to work in the United States
