What you'll do

As an Early Childhood Substitute Teacher, you'll help create a positive, engaging learning environment where students can continue to thrive while their regular teacher is away.

Your responsibilities include

• Following lesson plans and classroom routines
• Supporting learning activities, centers, and classroom projects
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Encouraging positive behavior using age-appropriate classroom management techniques
• Assisting with daily routines, transitions, lunch, recess, and other activities
• Supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development
• Taking attendance and communicating important information with school staff
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of every student throughout the school day

For long-term assignments, substitute teachers may also develop and deliver lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and learning goals.

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Full-Day • 7: 00 AM–4:30 PM
