We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our Canonsburg school-based team. In this role, you'll work alongside teachers and therapists in a bright, contemporary facility to provide direct support to students with special needs, helping them succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one and small group support with classwork, tests, and activities
• Reinforce learning concepts under teacher or therapist supervision
• Support students in following IEP and behavior plans, including ABA strategies
• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, and on field trips
• Assist students with personal needs such as mobility, toileting, and self-care
• Foster a safe and respectful learning environment while maintaining professional relationships with staff and students
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the director to support student success

What We're Looking For

• Education: Associate's Degree (required)
• Experience: Prior work with children or individuals with special needs (preferred but not required)
• Skills: Patience, compassion, adaptability, and strong communication skills

Required Clearances & Training

• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
• Act 34 State Criminal History Clearance
• Act 114 FBI Clearance (DOE)
• Act 168 Clearance
• Mandated Reporter Training
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Recent Physical/TB Test
