Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – High School | Full-Time FMLA Leave Coverage
Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (FMLA Leave Coverage) Grade Levels: 9th–12th Grade Setting: Onsite Weekly Hours: 35 hours per week Duration: August 10, 2026 – November 10, 2026 Caseload & Responsibilities Manage a blended caseload of approximately 45 students Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with student IEPs Support students in developing functional communication and life skills Work with students with low-incidence disabilities and complex communication needs Implement and support Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and multidisciplinary team members Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation Utilize evidence-based behavioral strategies to support student engagement and communication Ideal Candidate The ideal clinician will have experience working with students who have significant communication needs and will be comfortable: Supporting students with low-incidence disabilities Implementing and programming AAC devices and communication systems Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams Providing functional communication services that promote independence and transition readiness Incorporating behavioral supports into therapy sessions as needed
