AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join an early childhood team in Melvindale, MI for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time opportunity offers the chance to support Pre-K and Kindergarten students as they develop foundational communication skills that will support their academic and social success. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to provide speech-language services tailored to the unique developmental needs of young learners. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for Pre-K and Kindergarten students with a variety of communication needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and educational objectives Provide engaging individual and small-group therapy sessions using evidence-based, developmentally appropriate intervention strategies Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support communication skills across classroom and school environments Participate in IEP meetings, providing clinical recommendations and progress updates Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Support students with articulation, expressive and receptive language, social communication, AAC, and other speech-language needs Foster a positive, nurturing therapy environment that encourages participation, confidence, and communication growth Partner with school staff to ensure continuity of services and successful student outcomes Position Highlights Part-time, school-based position for the 2026-2027 school year Caseload consisting of Pre-K and Kindergarten students Opportunity to make an impact during students' foundational years of communication development Collaborative early childhood team with ongoing mentorship and clinical support Dedicated workspace and access to therapy resources Strong administrative support throughout the school year
