The Hourly Itinerant Special Education Teacher teaches and manages a caseload of students with disabilities, focusing on their academic, social-emotional, and adaptive behavior skills. Responsibilities include developing individualized lesson plans, assessing student needs, and collaborating with paraprofessionals and other staff.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field and possess a valid Colorado Department of Education Teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education. Knowledge of the IEP process and the ability to implement individualized teaching techniques are also required.
