The paraprofessional provides individualized support to secondary students with disabilities, assisting with their educational, behavioral, and daily living needs. They work under the direction of licensed staff to implement IEPs and support classroom objectives.
Candidates must have specialized training in invasive procedures, pass district-approved exams, and complete required training within 75 days of hire. A valid Colorado driver's license is required for those transporting students.
