Assistant Teacher

The assistant teacher supports the lead teacher by implementing classroom routines, activities, and lesson plans while ensuring constant supervision of children and assisting with caregiving needs like feeding and toileting. They are also responsible for encouraging children’s independence, documenting observations via the communication app, and maintaining a clean classroom environment.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or ged and the ability to pass a background check, with a willingness to obtain pediatric cpr & first aid certification within 90 days. Candidates must also possess the physical ability to handle active supervision, lift up to 50 lbs., and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
