Advocate

The advocate is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the coaching boys into men curriculum, ensuring all program needs and activities are met, which includes recruiting and training coaches and volunteers. Key duties involve performing program assessments, collecting data, establishing positive relationships with stakeholders, and promoting the program for sustainability.

A bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field is preferred, but experience may substitute for education, requiring two years working in the community, public speaking, and training others. Candidates should possess basic knowledge of team sports, recognized expertise in sexual violence prevention, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
