Para-Professional

The para-Professional will implement classroom accommodations and instructional strategies while providing direct academic and behavioral support to assigned students under the direction of the learning consultant and teacher. Key duties include promoting independence, ensuring student safety across all school settings, and assisting with personal care needs as required.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 60 college credit hours, with a degree in special education or a related field preferred. Required attributes include strong communication and organizational skills, a commitment to the school's mission, and the ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies.
