Aide - Extended Care

The extended care aide supports st. Joseph catholic school by providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-Filled environment for preschool children during extended day hours. This role involves assisting with the supervision, care, and enrichment of students in alignment with catholic values and early childhood best practices.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with coursework in early childhood education preferred, and must have previous experience working with young children in a childcare or school setting. A commitment to catholic church teachings, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and obtaining cpr/First aid certification are also required.
