- We are seeking a highly qualified Second Grade Teacher to provide rigorous, standards-based instruction while preparing students for Reconciliation and First Eucharist.Job Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Religion.
- Implement a structured literacy approach and strong foundational math instruction.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Integrate Catholic teachings and Gospel values across the curriculum.
- Prepare students for Reconciliation and First Eucharist in partnership with parish and families.
- Maintain a structured, positive, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
- Collaborate professionally with colleagues and communicate regularly with parents.
- Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (Master’s preferred).
- Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional best practices.
- Practicing Catholic preferred; must support Catholic teachings and mission.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
