Teacher Head Start, (10-Month, Full-Day)

The teacher will be responsible for nurturing development, fostering resilience, and cultivating well-Being for children within the head start program. This involves implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum practices and conducting developmental assessments as needed.

Candidates must possess a bachelor of science/Arts degree in early childhood education, child development, or a related field with 12 credit hours in early childhood education, along with previous classroom experience with preschool children. Essential physical requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and frequently bend/Stoop to child level, alongside demonstrating cultural competency and crisis handling skills.
