Substitute School Nurse

The substitute school nurse promotes and upholds professional nursing standards while serving as a medical resource and health advocate for students and staff. Essential duties include supervising prescribed medical treatments, managing acute/Chronic health conditions, and maintaining student health records.

The minimum qualification requires a licensed practical nurse (Lpn) with a current license to practice nursing in the state of missouri. A baccalaureate in nursing (Bsn) is preferred, and experience in public health nursing is beneficial but not required.
