School Social Worker

The primary role involves assisting students whose emotional or social problems impede their education by providing direct social work services, conducting evaluations, and participating in iep planning. The social worker also acts as a liaison between families, the school, and external agencies to ensure students access necessary support services.

Candidates must possess a master's in social work along with licensure or certification endorsed as a school social worker, or eligibility for temporary/Full approval. A minimum of two years of successful school social work experience is required, along with demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment techniques, and knowledge of positive behavior intervention strategies.
