Teacher: Infant/Toddler

The teacher is responsible for the care and education of a group of infants and toddlers, planning and implementing educational objectives within a safe, nurturing, and individualized environment. This role involves promoting the mission of abcd head start & children’s services and ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local laws and policies.

Educational requirements vary by pay grade, ranging from a high school diploma with an active child development associate credential (Infant/Toddler endorsement) for teacher 1, up to a master's degree for teacher 4, all requiring experience teaching infant/Toddler age children. Possession of eec infant/Toddler teacher certification is preferred across all levels, and bilingual ability is preferred where appropriate.
