Core responsibilities
The therapist will provide intensive home-Based services to pregnant women and families with children aged birth through 6 years old, delivering services like parent-Child psychotherapy, developmental assessment, and case management in the home and community. Specific duties include developing therapeutic relationships, monitoring child development, providing parent education, coordinating services with other professionals, and maintaining clinical documentation.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, along with corresponding state of michigan licensure, or obtain it within 60-120 days of hire. A minimum of one year of supervised experience treating minors and their families is required, and candidates should be working towards an mi-Aimh endorsement.
