Assistant Teacher (10-month, Full-Day)

The assistant teacher is responsible for ensuring daily activities and interactions align with the program's mission and goals, assisting in planning and implementing early childhood activities based on the highscope curriculum. They must also maintain a clean, nurturing, and safe environment that supports preschool children's growth and development.

Candidates must possess an associate degree in early childhood education or related field with specific ece credits, or hold a qualifying cda certificate and be enrolled in further education. Essential requirements include knowledge of early childhood development, experience with preschool children, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and demonstrating cultural competency and sensitivity.
