Core responsibilities
The instructor will lead fun, safe, and educational group exercise classes, such as chair yoga and silver fit, designed to improve components of fitness like flexibility, strength, and cardio-Respiratory conditioning. Key duties also involve building member relationships, maintaining equipment organization, and assisting with program statistics compilation.
Requirements summary
Candidates need at least one year of experience leading challenging yet safe classes and knowledge of group exercise fitness components; preferred qualifications include national fitness certifications like ace, acsm, or afaa, and current cpr/First aid/Aed certifications. Applicants must also pass background checks and commit to promoting diversity and inclusion.
