Core responsibilities
The summer day camp counselor will directly supervise a small group of campers, ensuring their safety while leading and assisting with a variety of engaging activities such as swimming, games, sports, and arts and crafts. Key duties include planning and leading group activities, conducting head counts, communicating with parents, and adhering to cleaning and sanitation protocols.
Requirements summary
Candidates should possess a positive attitude and previous experience working with children and diverse populations, with a preference for six months or more of related experience. Applicants must be committed to diversity and inclusion, pass background and reference checks, and complete required child abuse prevention training.
