FT ELC Assistant Teacher

The early childhood assistant teacher supports the group teacher by assisting with instructional, clerical, and classroom tasks while ensuring a safe, fun, and positive environment for enrolled participants. This role involves aiding in the education, health, welfare, and safety of children while demonstrating commitment to the ymca's core values.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and two years of classroom aide experience, or suitable experience with children. Required certifications include cpr for the professional rescuer, epi, asthma, and first aid within 90 days of hire, with a commitment to complete a cda program within the first year if only holding a high school diploma.
