Para - Professional 1

The para-Professional 1 assists instructional personnel in presenting learning materials and tutoring students in individual and small group settings. They also monitor student activities, maintain records, and help create a positive learning environment.

Candidates must have an associate's degree or equivalent education and at least one year of experience working with children in an educational setting. They are also required to complete a fundamental course of study and obtain a general para educator certificate within one year of employment.
