School Occupational Therapist / OT

The occupational therapist evaluates students and applies purposeful, goal-Directed activities to enhance learning potential in the educational setting, serving as a consultant to staff on therapy practice. Responsibilities include providing ongoing assessment, delivering individual or group services as per the iep, and collaborating with staff and families to implement adaptive techniques.

Candidates must graduate from a council on medical education/Aota accredited occupational therapy curriculum, holding at least a bachelor's degree (Master's required as of 2027) and be eligible for national board certification. A currently valid new jersey state school certification and occupational therapist license are mandatory.
