VPM is seeking an experienced, Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is fully credentialed and able to independently bill for clinical services. This is a contract-based role designed for a highly skilled professional who can operate autonomously while partnering closely with our team to support client needs.

About the Role

The Licensed Clinical Psychologist will provide high-quality clinical services under their own license and manage their own billing. This position is classified as a 1099 (referral-based independent contractor), not a W-2 employee role, as the clinician must be able to bill independently and collaborate with VPM on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical assessments, therapy, and related psychological services. Bill services independently under your own license. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. Collaborate with VPM leadership and staff as needed to support client care. Ensure compliance with all applicable licensing, billing, and ethical requirements.

  • Licensure & Credentials Current, active license as a Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD).
  • Ability to independently bill for services under your own license.
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Prior independent contractor experience preferred, but not required.
  • Clinical Experience Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, adolescents, or school-aged populations Proven experience and/or history of billing for self-services Demonstrated expertise in psychological and educational assessment, data-driven intervention planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations, including IDEA, Section 504, and ADA compliance.
  • Experience in delivering counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services to students, parents, and educational teams.
  • Strong skills in telehealth delivery, including the ability to adapt assessments and interventions for virtual platforms while maintaining rapport with students.
  • Commitment to cultural competence, equity, and trauma-informed practices in supporting diverse student populations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and parent/school staff engagement.

Collaborative Practice Demonstrated success working as part of a multidisciplinary team (therapists, school counselors, educators) Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders Skilled in family engagement and culturally responsive care practices

Technology & Documentation Proficient with telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and HIPAA-compliant tools Strong skills in clinical documentation, care coordination, and digital communication Comfortable supporting care delivery in fully remote environments

Contract Structure 1099 independent contractor arrangement. Contractor is responsible for their own billing, taxes, insurance, and licensing requirements. Flexible schedule based on client needs and contractor availability.
