Core responsibilities
The nurse educator will coordinate and implement the monthly amap medication certification class and refresher, including observing staff medication administration. They will also plan and implement other educational programs for clinical and non-Clinical staff while maintaining a small residential caseload.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a valid nys driver’s license, an associate degree in nursing, and a current new york state registered professional nurse license. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is also required.
