Core responsibilities
The behavioral technician will provide clinical skills instruction and implement behavior reduction protocols based on applied behavior analysis principles for children with autism and related developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include planning and implementing intervention strategies, recording data, reinforcing positive behavior, and assisting with parent training under bcba supervision.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess either a bachelor's degree in a human services field with one year of relevant experience working with youth needing behavior management, or an associate's degree (60 college credits) with a minimum of two years of direct relevant experience. Strong organization and communication skills are required, and registered behavior technician certification is a plus.
