EHS Family Educator

The family educator will conduct weekly home visits promoting child development, health, safety, and nutrition, while facilitating parent-Child interactions using the parents as teachers curriculum. Responsibilities also include completing developmental screenings, assessments, and collaborating with families to set strength-Based goals and connect them with community resources.

Required qualifications include a home-Based cda credential or comparable coursework, knowledge of early childhood development and head start performance standards, and strong relationship-Building skills. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and two or more years of relevant experience.
