ABA Counselor

The aba counselor is responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment and behavior plans, providing direct professional services to clients and their families in home-Based settings or educational centers. This includes coordinating services and ensuring quality treatment based on behavioral and positive theoretical orientations.

A minimum requirement is an associate's degree in human services, mental health, or a related field, along with one year of related clinical experience working with special education or children with developmental/Intellectual disabilities, though a master's degree is preferred. Proficiency in microsoft office suite and having an active or eligible registered behavior technician credential are also required.
