Children's Nest Preschool and Daycare is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Infant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide a safe and stimulating environment for infants to grow and learn. You will play a vital role in establishing a strong foundation for their early development and fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Responsibilities
- For infant teacher
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care
- Give bottles to infants as provided by parents
- Feed infants' solid foods as age appropriate and provided by parents
- Change diapers as needed
- Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them
- Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys
- Put infants in cribs for nap time
- Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean
Requirements
- Proven experience working with infants in a childcare or educational setting.
- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
- Knowledge of infant development milestones and ability to implement age-appropriate activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and engage with infants and their parents. -
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in dealing with the challenges of working with infants.
- CPR and First Aid certification for infants and children (or willingness to obtain).
- High school diploma or equivalent (early childhood education certification preferred).
- Meet annual professional development requirements.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work a shift in between 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.
- Reliable transportation to the center.
