Speech Language Pathologist

The primary role involves evaluating, planning, and providing therapeutic intervention for speech and language deficits in individuals with acquired brain injuries, including administering evaluations and developing specialized exercise programs. Responsibilities also include consulting with others, educating consumers and families on communication techniques, and integrating therapy goals with employment and independent living objectives.

Candidates must have successfully completed a speech language pathology program from an accredited university and be eligible for the clinical fellowship year. Desired qualifications include experience working with people with disabilities, along with strong skills in sensitivity, professional interaction, therapy coordination, time management, and communication.
