Youth Development Professional (YDP)/Aftersch

The youth development professional is responsible for establishing weekly/Monthly program calendars consistent with organizational goals, developing program schedules, and ensuring members receive instruction and feedback to develop skills in various program areas. This role also involves registering new members, providing guidance, implementing activities, monitoring safety, and continually evaluating program effectiveness.

A high school diploma or ged is required, along with a minimum equivalent of 2 years of combined experience and/Or formal training in youth development. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to motivate youth, manage behavior problems, and plan/Implement quality programs for children across different age groups.
