School Social Worker

The role involves providing direct counseling and intervention services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges, while also supporting their development of coping strategies and conflict resolution skills. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial assessments, participating in iep/504/Bip development, responding to crises, and acting as a liaison between the school, families, and community agencies.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree in social work along with current state licensure, and a minimum of two years of experience working in schools. Additional requirements include clearing an ichat background check, understanding state laws and ethics, and maintaining a valid driver's license with appropriate automobile insurance coverage.
