Head Start Instructional Assistant

The instructional assistant implements instructional experiences for preschool children under the direction of the head start teacher to support their social, emotional, physical, and educational development. This role involves assisting with classroom activities, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting the assessment and documentation processes.

Candidates must possess knowledge of early childhood development and experience working in a team environment with children, along with reliable transportation. A high school diploma or ged equivalent is required, and applicants must pass a background check.
