High School Special Education Teacher (SY 26/27 - Math Focus)

The special education teacher will create and execute rigorous daily lesson plans aligned with ma common core frameworks, utilizing data to drive instruction and developing comprehensive individual education plans (Ieps) with measurable goals. Responsibilities also include chairing productive iep meetings and engaging with families in a culturally responsive and collaborative manner.

Candidates must possess knowledge of special education compliance, experience accommodating and modifying curriculum for access, and the ability to work effectively on teams. A bachelor's degree in education or content area is required, and teaching experience in an urban or charter school setting is preferred, along with completion of required mtels.
