Core responsibilities
The interventionist is responsible for implementing research-Based instructional strategies to direct the learning process and achievement of assigned students, ensuring all instruction is individualized based on learning differences and frequent assessment. This role involves serving all disabilities and gifted students across all grades using various support services and settings.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in education is required, with a master's degree preferred, and candidates with a master's can bring eight years of experience while those with a bachelor's can bring six years. An alaska teacher certificate is mandatory, and three years of prior education experience, along with experience in inupiaq language, history & culture, is preferred.
