9th-12th Grade Social Studies Teacher

The teacher is responsible for implementing research-Based instructional strategies to direct student learning and achievement, ensuring all instruction is individualized based on learning style, rate, and achievement level. Duties include maintaining subject matter competency, employing appropriate assessment methods, and developing programs to accommodate identified student needs.

A bachelor’s degree in education is required, with a master’s degree preferred; an alaska teacher certificate is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include three years of experience in education and experience with inupiaq language, history & culture.
