Core responsibilities
The teacher is responsible for implementing research-Based instructional strategies to direct student learning and achievement, ensuring all instruction is individualized based on student differences in learning style, rate, and achievement. Duties include maintaining subject matter competency, employing appropriate assessment methods, and fostering cooperative relationships with all stakeholders.
Requirements summary
A bachelor's degree in education and an alaska teacher certificate or type m certificate are required to perform this job successfully. Preferences include a master's degree, cte and/Or steam experience, and knowledge of ace, pbis, restorative circles, and inupiaq language, history & culture.
