Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Professional Development Specialist (Wage)

The nursing professional development specialist manages the centralized orientation, continuing education, professional development, and mandatory training for uva health system nursing staff. This involves assessing learning needs, designing, marketing, delivering, and evaluating educational programs.

A graduate of an accredited nursing program is required, along with a master’s degree needed within one year of hire; a master’s in nursing or education is preferred. Minimum experience requires three years of clinical nursing experience, with two years of educational experience preferred, and active rn licensure in virginia.
